Have you been considering natural stone for your garden or property makeover? At Porcelain Paving Direct, we’d like to introduce you to our Ardesie collection of porcelain slabs that replicate the look and feel of real stone beautifully.
The Ardesie collection accurately mimics limestone and marble found in Italy but isn’t actually real stone. Instead, porcelain paving is manufactured by heating minerals and clays at high temperatures and printing on them to give the illusion of stone.
Drawing inspiration from marbles and limestones found in Italy and the popular rustic slates from India and South America, the large format of this paving minimises the need for mortar joints and enables the colour and pattern of this collection to show their maximum effect.
Our stunning collection of Ardesie porcelain paving slabs are available in four stunning shades: Taupe, Grey, Beige and Multicolour.
No matter whether you wish to achieve a modern, contemporary look or more a rustic, traditional appearance, porcelain paving can be enhanced with furnishings and decor to give the aesthetic you desire.
What’s more, all of our porcelain paving is manufactured with an R11 anti-slip finish. This makes our porcelain tiles suited to all outdoor areas, such as patio terraces, balconies, indoor locations and around swimming pools.
More good news is that porcelain paving is practically maintenance-free. From time to time, simply sweep the surface of the slabs with a soft-bristle sweeping brush to get rid of accumulated dirt, or wipe them over with a damp cloth to get rid of more stubborn dirt.
Even better, porcelain paving from the Ardesie collection is extremely hard wearing due to the vitrification process during manufacturing. This means that changes in weather won’t affect the quality and it is resistant to stains, scratches, dents, cracks and chips.
Porcelain paving also demonstrates resistance to algae, moss and mould. This is particularly important for patios in the shade or that are north facing. Plus, you don’t need to worry because porcelain can withstand fertiliser and lawn treatments and won’t result in damage.
